03/09/2022 – Ukraine: Blood donation DO collects donations for aid organizations
The in-house blood donation of the Dortmund Clinic is now collecting money for aid organizations that support both refugees from Ukraine and people in the war zone. Anyone who wants to do good can do so in two ways: Firstly, everyone who comes to Alexanderstraße to donate blood has the option of automatically donating their expense allowance (20 euros). “Of course, we are also happy regarding everyone who is not allowed or does not want to donate blood, but who still comes by and contributes a little financial help. We have set up a donation box next to the registration for this purpose,” says Susanne Socha, head nurse at BlutspendeDO. In addition, the blood donation will remain open two hours longer on the next two Saturdays (March 12 and 19) to collect for a good cause.
