MADRID, 23 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Ukrainian Interior Minister, Igor Klimenko, stressed this Friday that all weapons in Ukrainian hands will be registered, as doubts grow about the fate of many of them on the black market.

“All weapons that are in the hands of our citizens will be in the unified arms register. We will eliminate all red tape that our citizens faced,” Klimenko reported.

“Citizens will have a clearer idea of their rights and responsibilities in the use of weapons, and this will allow the State to control the weapons that are in their hands,” said Klimenko, who added that all procedures, including the criminal record certificate, can be done online.

Klimenko has highlighted that only during the first three hours of the launch of this registry, more than 3,500 people have already submitted their applications. “People are very interested”, he has celebrated it.

“These data confirm the importance and expected implementation of the registry, Klimenko said in a message posted on his Telegram account.
