Ukraine denounced massive bombardments by Russia in 10 of the 27 regions of the country

Russia complied with its warning and carried out bombing strikes against Ukraine. The Ministry of Defense assured that the bombings were in retaliation for a recent incursion into its territory at the beginning of March that they attribute to Ukrainian saboteurs.

Meanwhile, Russia confirmed that high-range air, sea and ground precision weapons were used to hit Ukraine’s key infrastructure, including military and defense factories as well as electrical installations.

The reaction of the Ukrainian government to the bombings

The President of Ukraine Volodimir Zelensky denounced “miserable Russian tactics” after these bombings that reached 10 of the 27 regions of the country, including kyiv.

The attacks occurred shortly after the 27 defense ministers of the European Union meeting with their Ukrainian counterpart, they will negotiate a supply plan for ammunition and missiles with a value of up to 2,100 million dollars.

In this context, Russia sees a negotiation to allow the Ukrainian grain export despite the offensive that is taking place.

Bakhmut, the city under constant siege

Meanwhile, fighting continues in Bajmut. The Russian paramilitary group Wagner claimed that it took the eastern part of the city.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of the NATO acknowledged that the town could fall in the coming days although he relativized the fact since he could not change the course of the war.

However, Ukrainian officials, including Zelenski, considered that the symbolic fall of this city could open a route of advance from the east, so they sent reinforcements to the area.
