Spain announced on November 2 that it will deliver Spain’s Nazams air defense system to Ukraine. Spain also supplied Ukraine with a battery of Asped anti-aircraft missile systems, four Hawk air defense systems, anti-tank missiles and guns. The Asped batteries will have two launchers capable of carrying six missiles each. It uses Spada 2000 missiles which can travel four times the speed of sound. These missiles can destroy targets at an altitude of up to six kilometers and at a distance of up to 25 kilometers.

The aid was announced after the visit of Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez to Ukraine. The President of Ukraine himself has expressed his gratitude for Spain’s action. The Spada 2000 missiles provided by Spain are capable of air defense in any weather, day or night. Such an air defense system is capable of countering air strikes in an area of ​​2000 square kilometers. Each missile can carry up to 35 kg of explosives.
