Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko has signed an executive order authorizing the export of electricity, but still prioritizing domestic users.

The next step is to export electricity, which will allow us to generate additional financial resources to rebuild destroyed and damaged energy facilities.”
He also praised the “huge project” of engineers and international partners to restore the power system.
However, Ukrainian electricity provider Ukrenergo warned that Ukraine could not count on Russia to stop its attacks. Since the start of the war, Russia has launched 1,200 missiles and drones against Ukrainian energy facilities.
