Kyiv (Archyde.com) – Ukraine’s Ministry of Agriculture data showed on Monday that Ukraine has exported about 27.7 million tons of grain during the 2022/23 season so far, down from 39.2 million tons during the same period of the previous season.

The exports included about 9.9 million tons of wheat, 15.9 million tons of wheat and about 1.8 million tons of barley.

The ministry said that grain exports amounted to 714,000 tons as of February 6, compared with 740,000 tons in the same period last year.

After a blockade of nearly six months as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the blockade of three Ukrainian ports on the Black Sea was lifted at the end of July under an agreement between Moscow and Kiev brokered by the United Nations and Turkey.
