Ukrainian troops shelled the village of Terebreno in the Belgorod region. The shells damaged seven residential buildings, a power line and three administrative buildings, reported Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel.
“Updated information on the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Terebreno, Krasnoyaruzhsky district. There were no casualties. Destruction of varying degrees was detected in seven private households and three administrative buildings: windows were broken, facades, roofs and fences were cut,” the head of the region specified.
Gladkov also noted that in order to restore the power line damaged during shelling, it is necessary to coordinate all necessary work with the Ministry of Defense. Repairs to the power line will begin with department approval.
Operational headquarters of the Belgorod region in its Telegram channel clarified, that together with Terebreny, the village of Staroselye came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the morning. The Ukrainian military fired 40 mortar shells at Terebryn, and 14 at Starosel.
Governor added, that earlier on September 28, an air defense system went off in the Belgorod region. Russian military personnel shot down a Ukrainian aircraft-type drone. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage. Employees of the operational services are finding out information about the consequences of the emergency on the ground, Gladkov noted.
The regional operational headquarters also reportedthat on the morning of September 28, in the Belgorod region, several more villages came under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including Bolshetroitskoye in the Shebekinsky urban district. Ukrainian troops hit the village with 12 shells. As a result of the attack, a man was injured and was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds to his thigh. Damage was recorded in one apartment building and seven private houses. Windows there were broken, facades, roofing, fences and outbuildings were partially destroyed.
During the day, the city of Shebekino also came under attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the region – six mortar shells were fired at it. Among the villages under mortar fire were Murom (three shells), Malomikhailovka (nine shells), Novaya Tavolzhanka and Sereda (eight shells each). Ukrainian troops also hit the village of Sereda with fragmentation ammunition dropped from a drone. No damage or casualties were detected in these settlements.
