The Ukrainian army manages to break through the Russian defenses north of Bakhmout, and released images of the fierce fighting raging on Monday.

At the cost of heavy losses, Ukrainian soldiers had to storm the Russian trenches near Bakhmout, in the Donbass region.

Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar said her troops were advancing towards Bakhmout, Archyde.com reports.
Advances in the Zaporijia region are more timid due to the presence of mines.
