Oleksiy Gromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, told the Ukrinform agency that the Ukrainian military had hit the Chongar bridge between the Kherson region and Crimea with British Storm Shadow missiles. About it informs TASS.

In an interview, he specifically noted the Storm Shadow air-to-ground cruise missiles, which can be used to destroy critical military targets at a distance of up to 250 kilometers.

“Evidence of the effectiveness of cruise missiles of this class is the damage to bridges across the Sivash near Chongar,” Gromov said.

The authorities of the Kherson region on July 3 announced the restoration of the Chongarsky bridge following the rocket attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 22. Traffic has resumed.
