Members of the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) beat prisoners of war and force them to ask their relatives for money. This was reported by a serviceman released from Ukrainian captivity, Viktor Raidin.

“An SBU officer called Telegram, I heard my mother’s voice. I say: “Mom, I am in captivity. You will now be given an account number. Contact Danil, my friend, he will tell you what to translate where. If you don’t throw off the money, they will kill me, ”RIA Novosti reports the words of Raidin.

The serviceman explained that when he disappeared, his mother turned to a friend who, in turn, called the police. They assured him that this was a hoax and Raidin, if he was captured, would be exchanged sooner or later anyway. Hearing this, the family of the prisoner of war did not send money.

The soldier said that there were cases when relatives of prisoners of war succumbed to the tricks of Ukrainian extortionists and transferred money, but this did not affect the attitude towards Russian soldiers: SBU officers continued to beat them, and some soldiers are still in captivity.
