Melly Goeslaw and doctor Peter sent a subpoena to several irresponsible slimming drug brands by profiteering their photos and videos without permission.
Ina Rachman as the attorney for both said that her party was still waiting for good faith from the slimming drug brand in question to apologize and delete the video within the next week.
“We have given a time limit of up to 7 days since yesterday. These parties apologize and are taking down advertisements that use fake videos from Teh Melly and doctor Peter,” said Ina Rachman when met in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (19/7/2023).
It is known, there are as many as 43 accounts that use photos and videos owned by Melly Goeslaw without permission for their slimming drug promotion needs.
“Until now, our results show that there are approximately 43 accounts. We don’t know yet, out of the 43 accounts, is there one, only he changed names. We haven’t gotten there yet. We are still taking screenshots,” said Ina Rachman.
Until now, six accounts have been in good faith by apologizing and taking down the video.
“There have been six that have taken down, some have DMed me, come to my office, clearly apologise, some have DMed, we’ll immediately take down the video. But they haven’t posted on their social media yet,” said Ina Rachman.
Regarding the report plan, Ina Rahman wait until the summons deadline is over. After that, he just planned his next move.
“We want to give an immediate effect until the 7th day, how do we see everything there,” he concluded.
