The series, whose first season is made up of eight episodes, relates the adventures of Michael, a forty-year-old New Yorker who was swimming in complete happiness until the day when her husband decides to leave her after 17 years of relationship. Following this breakup, the man will discover the life of a bachelor of his age in the Big Apple.
In the skin of Michael, we find Neil Patrick Harris, actor known for having played Barney Stinson during the nine seasons of How I Met Your Mother. The blue-eyed blond – who recently sold his New York home for the exorbitant price of $7.1 million – has always been very discreet about his homosexuality. It was not until 2007 that he decided to formalize his relationship with David Burtka, actor with whom he was in a relationship in 2004. Together, they have fraternal twins, Gideon Scott and Harper Grace, born to a mother carrier. They also married in September 2014 in Italy. “I fell in love with a guy and started spending all my time with him. In this kind of case, we want to make the most of it.
