On the afternoon of July 5, General Secretary Xi Jinping visited Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. He came to the Suzhou Industrial Park Exhibition Center to learn about the construction and development of the high-tech park.
Suzhou Industrial Park has a strong momentum for opening up and innovation, and has been approved to build Suzhou Laboratory, National Biopharmaceutical Technology Innovation Center, Third-Generation Semiconductor Technology Innovation Center, and New-Generation Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Development Pilot Zone. The output value of high-tech industries and strategic emerging industries accounted for 74.8% and 58.5% of the total output value of industrial enterprises above designated size respectively.
Suzhou Industrial Park has ranked first in the comprehensive evaluation of national economic development zones for seven consecutive years, and is striving to become an open and innovative world-class high-tech park.
