Having struggled with addiction for nearly 30 years, Pierre Palmade was high on cocaine and 3MMC (a synthetic drug) when he got behind the wheel the evening of the accident. “The previous two days, almost all the time, I took 3M™ by intravenous injection, it was the product I preferred. From time to time, as it tends to make you sleep, I took cocaine to wake me up,” he said during the interrogation, according to Le Parisien. He believes he “fell tired” while driving, which caused the crash.
If he was directly followed for his major drug problem, the actor, who “dreams of living a life without drugs” from now on, also confessed to the investigating judge that he had relapsed one evening since the accident, according to our French colleagues.
