The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed that mental disorders are one of the important issues that attract the attention of modern societies, and although genetics plays an important role in the development of these disorders, there are other factors that contribute to this.
Factors causing mental disorders
According to the Ministry of Health publication, there is no single cause for the occurrence of psychological disorders. Genetics certainly plays a role in their occurrence, but there are other causes such as personal traits – such as self-confidence, or a person’s ability to express his feelings – and the problems and pressures to which the person is exposed. Therefore, consulting mental health doctors is necessary.
The Ministry of Health indicated that mental disorders are not the result of a single factor, but rather the result of the interaction of a group of factors, and it is necessary that we deal with this issue seriously and communicate with professionals in the field of mental health when needed.”

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the minister began the meeting by discussing the rates of implementation of what was agreed upon in previous meetings, in addition to following up on the discussions that took place in the meetings that were previously held during the previous Arab health meeting.
Abdel Ghaffar added that the minister discussed during the meeting an update on Siemens’ progress in the pilot project for education and digitization, in addition to discussing strengthening the partnership with Siemens through establishing regional referral centers for diagnostic and interventional radiology in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
