This Wednesday, shortly before 2 p.m., a man fell on a motorcycle in rue Baronhaie in Oupeye. According to our information, he suddenly, and without explanation, fell from his vehicle. He would have felt unwell: “Indeed, a witness explains that he crossed the motorcycle in the car. He then, by reflex, looked in his mirror and saw him fall, ”explains Alain Lambert, police chief of Basse-Meuse. “He stopped and called the emergency services. The man was transported to the hospital”.
No accident
Investigations are underway to establish the causes of this accident: “The car and the motorcycle crossed paths but did not touch each other. In the report, nothing shows that they touch each other. According to initial information, and the explanations of the only witness, the man fell suddenly, without explanation, without the intervention of a third party or another vehicle. It is a moderately frequented street which is not problematic,” he concludes.
The usual analyses, in particular blood alcohol levels, were carried out. Daniel is a resident of the commune of Oupeye. First announced as dead, the man is still alive and is in a coma in the intensive care unit of the Citadel. He also suffers multiple facial injuries.
