“Unforgettable” by French Montana certified diamond disc

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded French Montana a diamond disc for his song “Unforgettable” equivalent to 10 million records sold. The rapper celebrated the certification at his home on Wednesday with friends and associates like Sylvia Rhone, CEO of Epic Records, Sal Slaiby, co-founder and CEO of XO Records, reports Variety.

Released by Epic Records and Bad Boy Records on April 7, 2017 as the lead single from his second studio album Jungle Rules, “Unforgettable” was a huge hit. His video featuring the Ugandan youth dance troupe ‘Triples Ghetto Kids’ has racked up over 1.4 billion views on YouTube. “Most of them now live in the United States,” says French Montana. For the latter, the diamond disc is also a great victory for Morocco, his country of origin, and for the Bronx.
