At the stroke of noon this Friday, an unusual and disconcerting scene took place in front of the Notre-Dame de Heusy institute, reports Sudinfo.
As for many years, as soon as a ray of sunshine appears on the horizon, students from the school take advantage of the good weather to spend their lunchtime in front of the institute. And some, sometimes, sit on the walls and other stairs of neighboring houses. With very often friendly local residents.
But this Friday, one of these residents was visibly angry and exasperated by this state of affairs and by the surrounding noise. As our colleagues report, the resident of Avenue Jean Tasté threatened the students who were in front of his house with an alarm gun.
Quite quickly, students notified the police who arrived in force to arrest the individual, with several combis and vehicles.
The man was arrested while handcuffed at around 12:45 p.m. He was taken towards the police station. Fortunately, there were no injuries, even if this action must have frightened the students concerned, to say the least. The situation returned to normal fairly quickly as soon as classes started, shortly before 1 p.m.
