Hani Shaker said in a telephone interview with the “Hazrat Al-citizen” program: Unfortunately, there are many who are fighting public work in Egypt. He continued, “I am coming to the union chair as a captain in order to serve my colleagues and sisters in the general assembly, not to insult myself. Unfortunately, I did not find anyone standing beside me or anyone denouncing this, and I will not return to public work again.”
And he concluded, insisting on his decision: “I will not return to public work again, and I am very satisfied, thank God, for everything that I and the esteemed board of directors have provided.”
