Kannur: An unknown person who terrorized Cherupuzha by the name of Black Man at night was caught on CCTV. Caught on camera. Blackman was found written on the wall of the house. The person has not been identified. In the hilly areas of the district, Alkode, Cherupuzha and Theertelly areas have been plagued by blackmen for the past few days.
Blackman’s arrival at Prapoil’s house last night was caught on CCTV. He reached around 11.30 pm. Police suspect that multiple people are behind this as similar incidents have happened in many parts of Kannur and Kasaragod.
It was common in the district to frighten the householders by knocking on the windows at night, leaving the pipes open, writing blackman on the walls, drawing pictures, making handprints dipped in charcoal, and removing light bulbs. Despite these incidents for consecutive days, the person has not been caught or identified yet.
In the beginning, he used to scare people by knocking on doors and windows and making noise. Later, when the name Blackman appeared in the media, he started writing on the wall describing himself as Blackman.
In the border of Alkode, Cherupuzha and Chittarikal police station, many houses have been terrorized in the name of blackman. Even following a month, the people behind the incidents might not be found. Blackman also enjoys folding clothes, destroying umbrellas and pushing dishes.
