Unilever product recalled for incorrect ingredient list

Unilever Belgium is recalling Conimex Nasi Goreng Boemboe for spiced rice from consumers, a company statement said on Friday. The sticker affixed to the product with the list of ingredients contains errors and does not mention the presence of the crustacean allergen (shrimp).

All products bearing a sticker and an expiry date up to the end of May 2024 are affected. Unilever clarifies that the problem does not arise with products without stickers and with an expiry date from June 2024 and that they can be sold and consumed in complete safety.

Unilever Belgium asks its customers allergic to prawns not to consume this product and to contact Conimex Careline on 078/15.22.07 or via the online contact form on www.unilever.be/contact/contact-form/.
