United States added to WHO list of countries affected by circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus

The United States now joins nearly 30 other countries where circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus (cVDPV) has been identified by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced Tuesday. diseases (CDC) of the United States.
