University event addressed soft skills for construction

Between January 17th and 21st, 2023, the Market Week was held, an event focused on engineering, technology and the job market. This year, the event presented trends in new technologies and soft skills for professionals in engineering, agronomy and geosciences to stand out in an increasingly competitive market.

Since 2015, SM has reached 5000 thousand participants, 50 companies and CEOs who have spoken, and more than 20 universities. The event encourages the participation of large companies to bring the job market closer together and use the digital medium as a potential for new business.

The Market Week featured workshops, lectures, round tables, technical visits (VT) and simulation of the selection process. This year’s theme was “How new technologies will impact the job market.” SM takes place every two years and attracts a large audience from Goiás and Brazil.

This year, the event featured a lecture by Paulo Franco Machado, producer manager at Senior Globaltec, with the theme “Payments revolution: financial services boosting business”. “We share the strategies of the largest companies in the real estate and civil construction sector in Brazil”, pointed out Paulo Franco. For the first time, Senior Globaltec was the official sponsor of the event along with Trinus Engenharia and Somos Construtora, two ERP UAU customers.

SM was an event focused on the job market and its purpose is to unite companies and future engineering professionals. “Our objective was to promote the tech ecosystem, boosting the development of professionals in the sector and helping companies to automate their processes”, highlighted Paulo Franco.
