Unlabeled soups are being recalled

The baked bean soups packaged in glass jars and sold by Le Marchand Traiteur in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, in Montérégie, are subject to a recall by the operator.

The products that are the subject of this warning were sold until Tuesday only at 349, boulevard Jacques-Cartier, in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

They were packaged in Mason-type glass jars and sold at room temperature, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) said.

Products without any labels have been removed as a precaution, said MAPAQ, inviting people in possession of these products not to consume them.

They must discard these products or return them to the establishment where they were purchased, added the ministry for which no case of illness associated with their consumption has been reported.
