The accused was remanded for posting commercial advertisements on social media without the authority’s license. The action was taken following a complaint received from the Ministry of Trade and Industry in this regard.

It is prohibited to engage in and marketing through social media without obtaining a license from the concerned authorities. The 8th Lower Criminal Court will hear the accused’s case on 28th of this month
