2023-09-11 11:09:00
The heatwave is now official: a historic first in September

Showers and thunderstorms are expected to arrive late in the followingnoon from France, and continue into the evening and overnight. “We expect precipitation amounts of 20 l/m² or more in 1 hour, which might locally cause overflows. Hail is not excluded,” warns the IRM.

The yellow alert will begin this Monday at 5 p.m. and end at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning. But it is possible that this warning will be modified, specifies the institute, because the forecast models are different “with regard to intensity, timing and location”.
