The memorial to the Poles killed there has disappeared from the grounds of the Levashovo forest cemetery near St. Petersburg, a memorial to tens of thousands of victims of terror during the Stalin era. Vandals had damaged it and now it has to be renovated, the city administration told the TASS news agency after startled citizens noticed that the memorial was missing.
