Muse experienced some technical problems during its performance in Werchter, but these did not prevent the British group from closing the third day of the rock festival strong on Saturday evening.
Vocalist Matthew Bellamy was singing “The Knights of Cydonia” when his microphone suddenly cut out, prompting the band to leave the stage. Muse however quickly reappeared, its singer then smashing a guitar, as he regularly does in concert.
Before Muse, the plain of Werchter had notably been able to move on Saturday with Oscar en the Wolf, Fred again.., Sofi Tukker or even Paolo Nutini.
The 47th edition of the biggest rock and pop festival in the country will end on Sunday. On the bill: Arctic Monkeys, Christine and the Queens or Queens of the Stone Age.
