For this price, a new generation train is on sale: the photo shows a very little used M7 type metro. This type of train only welcomed its first passengers in July 2021. The seller also specifies that the metro is “very clean”.

Obviously, this is the work of a joker who has fun on social networks. “At that price, it’s sold off”, we laugh at the Stib, which specifies that it hopes that no one will fall into the deception. A new M7-type metro train did indeed cost, on purchase, no less than 7 million euros.
Stib confirms that the metros will remain in its possession and that they are therefore not for sale. Especially not so soon: M7 trains should have a life expectancy of at least 30 years.
The photo used by the seller is none other than a photo broadcast by Stib itself in July 2021, when the said train welcomed its first passengers.
At best it is therefore a joke. Hoping it’s not a scam attempt. Admittedly coarse, but don’t we say that the bigger it is, the better it goes?
