The authors of the study also draw up a bad report to the Belgian administrations: “They fail to provide services commensurate with the amounts they collect from employees“. Among the 28 countries studied, Belgium is ranked 11th in the general OECD PISA ranking on educational results, 14th out of 28 in terms of happiness according to the United Nations World Happiness Report of 2022, and 19th on 28 for quality of life according to US News’ 2021 Best Countries Survey.
