Called October Nightmares, the new game from the Chien d’Or studio focuses on the October crisis, the socio-political event that shook the entire country when independence extremists kidnapped a British diplomat and provincial minister Pierre Laporte. An action which, we remember, pushed the Canadian parliament to decree the War Measures Act.
In development for a year, the game will be officially revealed during a special evening at Drum of Ste-Cath. The studio will also announce a crowdfunding campaign on the platform. Kickstarter in order to carry out this unique project in the world of video games.

A cosmic horror game
In this game, “explore a Montreal neighborhood in the 70s, investigate a supernatural phenomenon that is inflicting nightmares on its residents and dive into the depths of the dream world to save their skin. October Nightmares is a first-person point-and-click “cosmic” horror game where exploration mixes with puzzle-solving.
