‘Up to 1 million won’ emergency living expenses loan on the first day, reservation method changed due to rush of advance reservations

The government decided to change the reservation method due to a rush of reservation applicants today, when advance reservations for ‘Small Living Expenses’ began.

The Financial Services Commission announced today that ″We have decided to change the reservation method, which was originally made on a weekly basis, in order to improve the convenience of use due to the large number of applicants for small living expenses loans.″

This loan is only possible through offline face-to-face counseling at the Minority Finance Integration Support Center. Initially, the government received reservations for on-site counseling for a week from Monday to Friday every week from Wednesday to Friday in preparation for congestion at the initial window.

However, as the number of applicants surged, we decided to change the method so that loan applicants can schedule consultations for the next four weeks on the application date, every Wednesday to Friday.

Therefore, for the remaining application days of this week, March 23-24, you can reserve a consultation schedule between March 27 and April 21.

Earlier today, when advance reservations for small living expenses started, the number of applicants rushed and access to the website was delayed from 9:00 am to pm today.

The number of people who can consult per week is about 6,200, but reservations for the number of people who can consult weekly were closed in one day.

The Financial Services Commission explained, “We decided to change the reservation method because there were a large number of applicants, such as the number of applicants for the next week closing at around 4:00 p.m. I did.

It is a program that provides emergency living expenses up to KRW 1 million immediately on the day of application for the vulnerable, who are easily exposed to illegal private finance due to difficulties in using the loan business.

The interest rate is 15.9% per year, and the interest rate is reduced by 0.5% when completing financial education through the financial education portal of the Small Finance Promotion Agency.

Also, if you faithfully pay interest, the interest rate will be lowered by 3 percentage points twice every six months, and after one year, you can receive a minimum annual rate of 9.4%.
