Member of the Federation Council Andrey Klishas withdrew a draft law sent to the government to regulate the remote sale of alcoholic beverages in Russia. Klishas withdrew the draft law on the legalization of the online alcohol trade sent to the government, two sources familiar with the discussion of the initiative told Vedomosti, and confirmed the representative of the apparatus of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko, in whose name the senator sent the document. According to Grigorenko, Klishas withdrew his bill “for revision” on June 19.

Klishas himself and his assistant did not provide answers to Vedomosti’s requests.
