Delegates once again voted Elisabeth Götze from Eichgraben as the top Green candidate for the upcoming National Council elections

97% percent The 168 delegate votes made it fixed on Sunday at the 42nd ordinary state congress of the Lower Austrian Greens in Ybbs an der Donau: Elisabeth Goetze, from Eichgraben, District of St. Pölten is once again the top candidate for the Greens of Lower Austria in the race for a ticket for the National Council. The 57-year-old national councilor, economics spokeswoman for the Greens in Parliament and municipal councilor from Eichgraben holds a doctorate in business administration and is a lecturer on leave at the Vienna University of Economics and Business:

“As spokeswoman for the Greens in the current federal government, I was able to get projects such as the eco-social tax reform, the transformation of industry and business, the climate ticket and the expansion of renewable energy sources off the ground together. Likewise, the valorization of social benefits and support for EPUs and micro-enterprises via the Corona hardship fund and also the community billion. With this we can present a track record of success for the Greens in the federal government” in their statement.

The National Council election is expected to take place in 2024. The Greens of Lower Austria are the first to position their team for the National Council elections. The goal of Elisabeth Götze “It’s about our survival, the future of our children, we have the responsibility to get involved here. For climate neutrality in 2040 and also to prevent black and blue in Austria. Likewise, a continuation of the previous successful green policy at federal level and the green transformation for the next generations.
