The Holy Capital Municipality stressed the need to adhere to the updated sanctions schedule, which was recently approved by the Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing. The official spokesman for the secretariat, Osama Al-Zaytouni, explained that the updated sanctions schedule included classifying violations into several groups, as the section on general violations included 19 types of violations. Among them are 10 serious violations for which a fine must be applied directly, as they may lead to serious harm to human health, safety, or public health. The table included 9 non-serious violations, the perpetrators of which are alerted and given a period of time to correct them, and then the fine is applied.
