The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company confirmed that the plan to reduce electrical current loads will not continue, and apologized to customers for any difficulties they are facing at the present time.
The company said in response to a question it received on its Facebook page regarding the end of the load-reducing plan: “We apologize for any difficulties you face. The current situation will not continue, and we confirm that work is underway to fully stabilize the current. Thank you for your understanding.”
At the same time, a source in the Ministry of Electricity told Masrawy that the decision to reduce loads is in effect and there are no instructions to cancel the reduction plan, indicating that since the past two days the reduction has been increased to two hours instead of one hour in various regions, according to what was determined by the National Electricity Control Center.
