A 37-year-old was stabbed by a duo of robbers in a park in Ansfelden (Linz-Land district) on Tuesday night. According to the police, the two strangers had previously followed the man. In the park, they grabbed his shoulder and demanded money. When he gave them nothing, they pulled out a knife and stabbed him. The 37-year-old was taken to the hospital. A search for the perpetrators was unsuccessful.
The men who fled on foot following the attack are described as 1.80 and 1.90 meters tall respectively. One wore a mustache and had bushy dark eyebrows. Both were dressed in dark hoodies and spoke with a foreign accent, according to police. Information is requested from the State Criminal Police Office (Tel.: 059133/403333).
