“Upside down” function: Samsung is releasing a practical innovation for the Galaxy

The app explicitly informs the user that a smaller height makes the legs appear longer and the head appear smaller. If the height is increased, the upper body becomes longer and the face becomes “younger”. Additionally, the camera tilt can be adjusted manually (up to 10 levels) by tapping the Tilt icon. The effect on the captured images is not too strong, but allows skilled photographers to add new accents to their shots.

The function is currently only available in the Enhance X app on the Galaxy S24 series. But it will soon be rolled out on many other devices. Samsung plans to add the camera feature to the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy M33, Galaxy M53, Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 (including the upcoming A55), Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy S21 FE (probably the S23 FE) and to introduce the Galaxy S21 series. However, it is not yet known when exactly the “upside down” effect will be available on these devices.
