Urgent decision from Dakahlia education after the incident of dancing and playing dowry songs

Nasser Shaaban, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Dakahlia Governorate, decided to end the assignment of the principal of Ali Mubarak Secondary School for Boys in Dekernes, and to dismiss 4 students for a period of 15 days, due to what he described as immoral behaviors that were committed by them inside the school, to operate the electronic blackboard and dance to music in the classroom.

A video clip of students was spread on social media, dancing to festival songs in a class.

Shaaban said, in press statements, that the students, two minutes before the teacher entered the class, connected the songs via Bluetooth to the electronic screen and started playing them. A follow-up committee from the Directorate and the Dekernes Educational Administration coincided with the presence of notes on the school, and the students were immediately seized.

The Dakahlia Education Undersecretary added that the follow-up committee arrested 4 students and two parents attended the school and decided to dismiss the students for 3 days for misusing electronic devices and submit a note on the incident.

He stressed that as soon as he became aware of the incident, he decided to implement the school discipline regulation and to dismiss the four students for a period of 15 days for immoral behavior in the classroom, and to terminate the assignment of the school principal.

He pointed out that the principal’s work had notes, so the follow-up committee was sent to inspect the school’s conditions and seized the incident.

And a 21-second video clip spread on social media, showing 4 students dancing in the classroom, and playing festival songs on the electronic board.
