Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that the average number of daily infections with the Corona virus reached 4, during the past week, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures conducted by the Ministry according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing out that the average daily death amounted to two new cases.
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that the average daily number of people recovering from the Corona virus reached 16, after receiving the necessary medical care and completing their recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total number of people recovering from the Corona virus so far to 445,701 recoverers.
He stressed that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for a period of 10 days from infection is an indicator of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
It is reported that the number of people who have received vaccines against the Corona virus has reached 35 million, 178 thousand and 603 fully vaccinated people so far, and the ministry calls on citizens to register on the ministry’s website https://egcovac.mohp.gov.eg/#/registration to receive virus vaccines. Corona, which contributes to protecting all family members from severe infections with the Corona virus and its variants, stressing that the Egyptian state spares no effort in providing vaccines to citizens for free, within the framework of the ministry’s keenness on the public health of citizens and the state’s gains in addressing the pandemic.
