The situation is serious, Austria’s economy is in recession. In addition to the downturn, local companies are faced with a variety of challenges. Austrian industry, trade and trade and crafts are particularly affected – those economic sectors in which two thirds of domestic employees have their jobs.

All of these divisions are currently conducting collective bargaining negotiations, which, especially now – in view of multiple crises and challenges – are more about reaching agreements with a sense of proportion than ever before.
