Uribe calls Petro a “rogue” for inviting those who sell the vote to vote for him and not to denounce

Gustavo Petro, who returned from Chile this Saturday after the inauguration of Gabriel Boric, once again expressed his fear on the different social networks about the eventual purchase of votes and that his political movement does not have the expected votes in the legislative elections.

In a message posted on Twitter, the leader of Colombia Humana once again suggested to the citizens that they receive the money they are offered for their vote. However, he pointed out that the idea is that they make the buyers a ‘rabbit’ and choose the historical Pact.

“For all the social networks that they have available, ask people that if they are going to receive money from vote buyers, they do so but vote for Petro and for the Pact. It is time for change”, pointed out the pre-candidatewhich received several criticisms from netizens.

Before this publication, former President Álvaro Uribe Vélez did not remain silent and assured that he cannot believe that the Cordovan senator has written a message of this caliber, since he practically accepts this terrible custom and endorses corruption in the country.

“This trill is from a rogue [estafador], It cannot be that it was written by Dr. Petro, presidential candidate, who would surely invite people to denounce and not participate in the crime”, precise.

The leader of the Democratic Center reiterated that he was quite taken aback by this message from Gustavo Petro, since it does not seem written by someone who wants to lead and unite the country for the next four years.

This is not the first time that the candidate for the Historical Pact has made such a suggestion because in a recent interview he pointed out that it was time to make a ‘rabbit’ of vote buyers.

“If the heart wins in Colombia, we win. If the pocket wins, we lose and Colombia loses. I ask all of society not to sell the vote, but if that happens, Colombia remains the same, run by thieves and murderers.”, initially noted.

Then he added between laughs: “What’s more, if you want to take the 50,000-peso bill, take it, but vote for Petro. Let them make a rabbit out of the buyer of votes and change the history of Colombia.”

Petro has been reiterating what role he will assume if he loses the presidential elections. Even the leftist leader stated in the last debate of SEMANA and El Tiempo that he will accept the results if there is no fraud.

“We are going to have some mechanisms. We are going to have about 150,000 guardians of the vote and we will have millions of people in the streets waiting for the result. If the Registry guarantees the data with absolute transparency, there is no problem”, concluded.
