（ＣＮＮ） Lance Reddick, an American actor best known for his roles in the TV series “The Wire” and the “John Wick” films, has died. He was 60 years old.
Mia Hansen, her agent, said.
He said Reddick died suddenly on Saturday morning “of natural causes”.
“Lance will be greatly missed,” Hansen said.
Reddick, who often had a compelling presence in roles that required strength and weight, grew up in Baltimore, Maryland.
Originally aspiring to be a musician, he began his career as an actor in the 1990s. He participated in the activities of the local theater company, and at the age of 29 he studied drama at Yale University.

After that, after auditions in New York, he appeared regularly in drama series such as “Oz” and “The Wire”. She’s been in the cast of “Lost,” “Fringe,” and most recently, Netflix’s “Resident Evil.”
In addition to the “John Wick” series, he has appeared in “That Night in Miami,” “Godzilla vs. Kong,” and the upcoming remake of “Hard Play.”
Despite his trademark tough-faced role, Reddick has also shown a playful side when making guest appearances on the sitcom “Young Sheldon” and the comedy “Key & Peel.”
On the 17th, Wendell Pierce, who co-starred in “The Wire”, sent condolences to Reddick on Twitter, saying that he was “a wonderful person with both strength and grace” and “not only as an actor but also as a musician. I was blessed,” he praised. He said he was deeply saddened by his sudden death.
