Washington: US and allies to abandon International Space Station (ISS). For this, NASA has announced a project of 100 crore dollars (approximately 8313 crore rupees). In 2031, the station will fall into the Pacific Ocean. The process will start in 2026.

ISS was launched in 1998. established by NASA’s position is that the station is being abandoned due to age. NASA has invited proposals to submit plans to commission Nilayam D before November 17. ISS is about 413 km from Earth. The weight is 4.5 lakh kg. The aim is to release it into the sea without any threat to life.

The main equipment of the plant will be safely removed in 2030. In the first phase, the distance from Earth will be reduced to 320 km. Slowly it will be 120 km. From here you can start your journey to fall into the ocean. As the probe enters the Earth’s atmosphere, its outer shell begins to burn. The landing zone will be Point Nemo near New Zealand. There are 260 spacecraft debris here. Scientists estimate that about 8 tons of propellant (fuel and oxidizer) would be needed to bring the station down from its lowest controllable altitude. Existing rocket engines cannot be used for this. If there is a fault, the plant will go out of control and become dangerous. In this case, a new rocket engine will have to be designed.

On January 25, 1984, the U.S. President Ronald Reagan is the ISS. The plan was announced. NASA launched the first part of the probe on December 4, 1998. The first tourists reached the center in 2000. Since then, more than 250 visitors from 20 countries have visited the station. Initially, the life of the plant was expected to be 15 years. The station is responsible for space agencies including NASA, CSA (Canadian Space Agency), European Space Agency, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), State Space Corporation, and ROSCASMAS. These agencies are responsible for safely deorbiting it.

NASA said it looked at plans, including raising it to a higher orbit to stay in space or leaving it in orbit until it randomly falls back to Earth. The probe needs to be relaunched to remain in orbit. It’s a difficult thing. Allowing it to decay will increase the risk to Earth.

NASA is on the move to establish space stations again. They also have plans to establish a station on the moon.
