Washington, 16 Aug 12:48 – (Nova Agency) – Semiconductor and technology products maker Chipmaker Texas Instruments will receive $1.6 billion in funding from the U.S. Treasury Department to build three new factories, two in Texas and one in Utah. The multinational announced the news, promising to invest $18 million by 2029, creating about 2,000 jobs. The company also said it expects to receive $6 million to $8 million from the U.S. government in investment tax credits and an additional $10 million in employee development funding.
