US court orders Clearstream to pay Iranian funds to terror victims – US

New York/Luxembourg/Berlin – A US court has ordered the Iranian central bank to pay out almost $1.7 billion (€1.58 billion) in assets from a Clearstream customer account to the survivors of an attack 40 years ago. A 2019 US law removed Bank Markasi’s immunity, federal district judge Loretta Preska said in New York on Wednesday.
