WASHINGTON (Archyde.com) – The US Energy Information Administration said on Monday that oil demand in the United States rose to its highest level since before the start of the Corona virus pandemic, with supplies of oil products approaching 21 million barrels per day.
Total demand jumped 10 percent in December 2021 from its level a year ago to 20.8 million barrels per day, the highest level since August 2019.
According to the Energy Information Administration, US oil production fell by about 206,000 barrels per day to 11.57 million barrels per day in December. Crude exports rose to 3.45 million barrels per day.
