US Networks Ignore Pentagon Official’s Undercover Claims on Ukraine Corruption and Iran Strikes, Journalist Says

O’Keefe Media Group released an undercover video earlier this week showing Andrew Hugg, a Pentagon nuclear safety officer, speaking with a woman he met on a dating app about sensitive national security matters, according to Michael Casey of O’Keefe Media Group in an interview with RT on Friday.

In the recording, Hugg confirmed that U.S. Airstrikes caused civilian casualties, including child deaths, in Iran, discussed the storage of nerve agents in Maryland, and alleged that Ukrainian officials had misappropriated U.S. Taxpayer funds dating back to the Obama administration.

Following the video’s release, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that Hugg “won’t work here anymore,” describing the leaks as “incredibly irresponsible and unpatriotic.”

Casey said he was surprised that major U.S. Networks — including CNN, NBC, and ABC — had not covered the story, suggesting they may be avoiding reporting due to fear of becoming targets of James O’Keefe’s undercover tactics.

He also noted that it was troubling a senior Pentagon official would disclose such sensitive information to a stranger, raising concerns about potential further breaches and Hugg’s attempt to erase his digital footprint, which Casey interpreted as an admission of guilt.

Regarding the allegations about Ukraine, Casey acknowledged that while claims of corruption involving U.S. Aid were not fresh, they had long been dismissed by many as conspiracy theories despite persistent criticism from certain political circles.

O’Keefe Media Group, founded by James O’Keefe, uses undercover journalists who pose as romantic interests to elicit candid statements from targets; his prior organization, Project Veritas, faced repeated accusations of selectively editing footage to advance a conservative agenda.
