IRGC Vows Retaliation and Targets Jordan Air Base

Shortly following the American raids, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps released a declaration via the official Iranian news agency IRNA, vowing that Tehran would retaliate against the Larak Island strikes by penalizing the attacker. In a subsequent statement early Monday local time, the IRGC announced it had launched ballistic missiles at a U.S. air base in Jordan. The guard warned that every shot will be met with more devastating responses, according to IRNA. Responding to the incoming projectiles, Jordan’s armed forces confirmed they intercepted eight missiles that entered the country’s airspace early Monday morning.
