US Supercross in Atlanta earlier this time

The 13th round of the US-Supercross Championships instead of. The championships are entering their last 5 rounds. The event starts earlier than usual and this means that the races in Europe do not take place in the middle of the night but in the evening hours of Saturday. The 450er final with Ken Roczen (Suzuki) will start at 11:26 p.m.

The course is again very long and demanding: 2 deep sand sections, 2 washboard sections with 10 and 13 Whoopsvarious rhythm sections and Wall-Jumps will push drivers and machines to the limit.

Since this is an open-air event, the weather also plays an important role. The forecast for Saturday predicts temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius with sunshine and light clouds in the afternoon. So we can assume perfect racing conditions. The final race start around 5 p.m. local time, which is in the late afternoon. That might be a small advantage for Ken Roczen who, by his own estimation, is more of a lark than a night owl.

In the 450er Class leader Eli Tomac (Yamaha) after his victory at Triple Crown in Glendale 7 points from his pursuer Cooper Webb (KTM) drop. Chase Sexton (Honda) with a deficit of 25 points meanwhile only has outsider chances for the title. Ken Roczen ranks 4th, but lurks behind him Justin barcia (GASGAS) just one point behind.
